Hugo Technology Limited was founded in 2001 and is a leading Independent Service Organisation, specialising in repair and maintenance services for global medical and laboratory device Original Equipment Manufacturers by leveraging the reach of our 45 employed and strategically located engineers.
 
Our mission is to provide a professional, value-for-money service to all our customers, while adhering to the strictest quality standards.

Our offering encompasses a comprehensive range of technical support and maintenance services, where we specialise in the testing, calibration and repair of a broad spectrum of biomedical and laboratory equipment.

Notable among our modality experience: Haematology, Urinalysis and other IVDs, Point-of-Care Testing (POCT), Digital Pathology, Ventilators and Anaesthesia, MRI Technology and Imaging: MRI, X-ray systems and ultrasound, Patient Monitoring, Infusion therapy, enteral feeding devices and more.

These activities are carried out with precision and expertise, whether on-site nationally or internationally or at our cutting-edge workshop facilities.

With a diverse clientele of 20+ Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), Hugo Technology's reach extends to Laboratories, NHS Hospitals, Private Hospitals, PCTs, GPs, Clinics, Cruise Ships, Private Nursing Homes and more. 2001

Hugo Technology is incorporated. Completing GP, private hospital and community trust work. 

hugo technology first premises in Wychbold

2003

Trial project with a global OEM begins. A rental unit in Wychbold is acquired. 

1st employees of Hugo Technology

2004

First set of employees are taken on. 

Medical device repair and maintenance

2005

Move to Hugo 1 and awarded full OEM contract.

 8 employees.

ISO 9001 logo

2006

Achieved ISO 9001.

Hugo Technology delivery service

2007

Signed contract with Blue Chip OEM. Employees now total 14.

2010

Hugo expands into  second premises: Hugo 2 with 42 employees.

We specialise and focus on providing bespoke technical solutions for Medical and Laboratory Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) by partnering and being fully authorised by them. However, we maintain our independent heritage by having comprehensive service agreements. We do not design or sell any physical products, which allows us to stay impartial and partner with all major equipment manufacturers.
