About Hugo Technology
Founded in 2001, Hugo Technology is a UK-based engineering services partner specialising in outsourced support for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) of medical and laboratory equipment. We deliver manufacturer-standard maintenance, repair, calibration, installation, logistics and technical support services, helping OEMs extend service capacity, reduce operational costs and maximise equipment performance across the UK and Ireland.
Unlike traditional service providers, Hugo Technology works exclusively with OEMs and authorised distributors - we do not contract directly with hospitals, NHS trusts or end users. Every service is delivered as a seamless extension of our partners' organisations, protecting customer relationships, maintaining brand integrity and providing a consistent manufacturer-standard experience.
Supported by more than 50 field and workshop engineers across the UK, and strengthened by pan-European capabilities through the Asker Healthcare Group, we support complex medical and laboratory equipment portfolios including in vitro diagnostics (IVD), digital pathology, imaging systems, patient monitoring, infusion therapy, anaesthesia, ventilation and other specialist healthcare technologies.
Quality, safety and continuous improvement are at the heart of everything we do. Our operations are certified to ISO 13485 and ISO 14001, and we are proud members of the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association (BIVDA), giving our OEM partners confidence that every service is delivered to the highest professional and regulatory standards.
